IT IN place

I was playing around with some electronic sounds for the blog and you wouldn’t think it at first, but synthetic music seems to have a lot in common with bird calls. It’s spring and when I went for my photo safari walk in the park, all I could do was hear the layers of bird calls like some sort of sythesizer concert… these warbling phrases repeated over and over and often in several simultaneous voicings, reminded me of those Phillip Glass pieces built out of layers and layers of simple patterns… It would be interesting to make something dense like that out of bird songs… That is, it would be interesting for someone else to make…. it would drive me fuckng crazy. This image sort of reminds me of this entry.
