Alex,

I dig those paintings. Especially the third piece. Truly insightful work. Very impressive.
Found this blog while doing a random search for Laurie Anderson. She also haunts my thoughts and is also a big part of the surreal soundtrack to my life.

Kudos to the artist,
- Doug

alex,

I enjoyed this quote about CM III:Â I don't know what he was talking about, but I'm still thinking about it...so it must have been smart.
Â
I have said the same about you in the past...and am thinking that now.Â
No question fatherhood is an important job, but the tedium of the work makes you dull, apart from those exceptionally poignant moments when the most beautiful human you have ever seen comes running for the door yelling "daddy". laugh, cry or both. you choose.
Â
my work is soulless so it was terrific to read words from someone who really feels.
Â
kudos and hope to see you soon.

fuck'n A - you need a media company. we have to add you "i" to the SKG. Your posting is the first blog/we book that I have actually wanted to spend a long evening on. The blur effect of scrawling down enhances every image and affects the way I look at the world when I look away from the screen. bravo young man.Â
